Concrete laborer/finisher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Worker with experience in flatwork to join our construction team. This role involves preparing, placing, finishing, and curing concrete for flat surfaces such as sidewalks, driveways, slabs, floors, and patios. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, experience with concrete tools and equipment, and the ability to work in a team-oriented, outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set forms and prepare subgrade for concrete pours

Place and spread concrete using rakes, shovels, and screeds

Level, smooth, and finish concrete surfaces using hand tools or power trowels

Apply curing compounds to protect and strengthen finished surfaces

Install reinforcement such as wire mesh or rebar

Operate and maintain concrete finishing equipment

Ensure work meets specified grade, depth, and finish

Clean up job sites and tools after projects are completed
