TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.

As a change agent in a fast-paced environment, you will find the role both challenging and rewarding. You will be primarily responsible for implementing Lean Principles at TE Medical and have knowledge and experience of use, teaching & coaching: Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S & Visual Management, Process Improvement Management.

Major Accountabilities:

Develop Business Process Maps as needed for soft business supports. Facilitate business units to achieve/exceed desired service levels, lead time reduction and efficiency improvement objectives through the implementation of lean initiatives. Assist in prioritizing tasks.
Develop standard work within the organization.
Support, mentor and coach teams in the implementation of lean tools and techniques. Deliver training to production and support staff on lean principles as necessary.
Support Problem Solving Tools & Techniques.
Facilitating and Leading Kaizen events.
Support value streams in the scoping of improvement opportunities.
As needed work closely with Operations supporting & sustaining Process Improvement Management.
Work observation and analysis on day to day data gathering, time studies and support with problem solving (A3s).

Qualifications:

Level 8 degree qualified ideally in the Industrial Engineering field or equivalent, with 3-5 years manufacturing experience.
Lean Six Sigma certification (minimum Green Belt) with post qualification experience.
Qualifications / Certifications in Lean Practices a distinct advantage.
Experience in AutoCAD / Solid Works an advantage.

Requirements:

Knowledge of Lean Systems.
Work Measurement Experience.
Strong self-direction & organizational skills
Strong facilitation, coaching, motivational and influencing skills.
Experience supporting successful project teams, including the development of employees.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the company.
Ability to lead and direct a diverse team as required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience delivering lean and six sigma training.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in facilitating Kaizen workshop events
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to adapt to changing work priorities in response to a rapidly changing environment.
Ensures adherence to quality and safety standards with all improvement efforts.
