Description We are offering a rewarding position with a growing company based in Northern, Minnesota, United States. The Controller will be tasked with managing various finance and accounting functions within the organization. The role involves a range of responsibilities, including maintaining financial records, managing budgets, and working cross functionally.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general finance and accounting functions in accordance with US GAAP Utilize process improvement tools and methods to continuously enhance safety and outcomes within the department Drive revenue, increase efficiency and reduce expenses while complying with all regulations set by external regulatory agencies and internal policies Prepare and consolidate financial statements, reconcile accounts, and manage budgeting and forecasting Conduct cash flow analysis and forecasts, and manage annual external audits Use Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks to manage and analyze financial statements Utilize strong communication skills to inclusively and collaboratively interact with all stakeholdersIf you are interested in this permanent opportunity, please apply directly to this posting and find Courtney Clark on LinkedIn to inquire directly.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting Minimum of 7 years' experience in accounting/finance Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of US GAAP Ability to analyze financial statements and prepare financial statement reports and strong skills in cash flow analysis and creating cash flow forecasts Previous involvement coordinating with external auditors Proficiency in using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
