Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Controller based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The workplace is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where the individual will play a crucial role in managing financial activities and processes.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all accounting functions including but not limited to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Use Accounting Software Systems to analyze financial data, forecast future trends, and prepare financial reports Manage and conduct regular auditing activities to ensure financial compliance and transparency Handle budget processes, including the planning, tracking, and reporting of all financial aspects Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to make strategic decisions based on financial status and forecasts Resolve customer inquiries related to financial matters promptly and professionally Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary actions based on account status Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently.Requirements Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a Controller role or similar financial leadership position Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes Proven experience in Auditing Demonstrated ability in managing Budget Processes A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required; a Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent leadership abilities with a team-oriented mindset Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
