Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interim Controller for a three-plus-month contractual work. The successful candidate would have substantial accounting experience and a solid understanding of M& A, revenue accounting, and to act as a strong mentor and guide.Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Controllership team, to handle M& A activities from the accounting perspective.Speed up the close process by addressing daily close functions, identifying bottlenecks, and providing effective solutions.Leverage your robust accounting experience to train, guide, and mentor team members on various accounting practices and procedures.Utilize a variety of software platforms, including NetSuite, Concur, and HubSpot, to deliver efficient and accurate financial tasks.Assist in reviewing close, automating numbers, and boosting the efficacy of the financial review processes.Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for financial transactions and audit procedures.Post M& A activities, you will be required to manage documenting revenue documentation and implementing procedures to streamline the process.Qualifications:Solid accounting background is a must.Proficiency in NetSuite, Concur, HubSpot, or related software is essential.Strong mentorship and leadership skills to guide the team.Ability to think critically and solve problems with a keen attention to detail.Experience with M& A activities from the accounting side will be a significant advantage.Excellent documentation skills to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.Please reach out to Robert Half to learn more about this opportunity.
