Credit and Collections Analyst

Description Robert Half is looking for a veteran Collections Specialist with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail. Manage inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence

Identify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment

Comply with all Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act rules and regulations

Catalog all customer payments to the correct reports

Process bankruptcy filings in the correct manner when received

Act as mediator in maintaining quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries

Lead all billing and reporting activities according to deadlines

Update customer files to ensure data integrity

Ensure payments are processed

Requirements - Overdue Payments experience highly preferred

Practical knowledge of Internal Teams

Deep understanding of reporting

Comprehensive knowledge of customer service

Demonstrated knowledge of Collector

Credit experience highly desired

General familiarity with Financial Forecast

Earlier work involving Kroll

Knowledge of communication

Foundational knowledge in Collection Processes

Adeptness in Salary Structures

Background working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Prior experience working with accounting software

AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred

Ability to analyze and make decisions on customer accounts

Strong communication and social skills

2-3 years of prior high volume collections experience
