Job Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Data Analyst for an opportunity with a client located in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with business leaders through proactive communication, taking time to understand business needs while providing a consultative approach to problem solving
  • Drive insights and inform business decisions by creating end-to-end analysis from data extraction to end-state manifestations, whether in a business intelligence solution or PowerPoint presentation
  • Identify and recommend potential data sources; utilize a strong technical, analytical skillset (SAS, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI) to navigate multiple data sources in order to extract the data necessary to perform complex analyses
  • Act as an equal partner and trusted advisor to the business by collaborating and engaging with various technology and/or business teams to bring the appropriate capabilities to the business problem and determine the best solution
  • Interact and effectively communicate with a variety of technical and non-technical team members to ultimately provide insightful analysis and convey findings in a clear and succinct manner
  • Interpret large quantities of data to provide insights that include recommended solutions to mitigate risk, reduce expenses, increase revenue, and improve operational efficiency
  • Respond to requests for specific, customized reports and ad hoc analyses; create efficiencies within existing processes while enhancing controls
  • Ensure integrity of analyses through rigorous attention to detail and adhere to data management, compliance and security procedures and policies

Requirements:

  • Understanding of FINRA, SEC, OCC regulations
  • Effective interpersonal, consulting and business partner management skills
  • Strong facilitation and prioritization skills with experience in project management
  • Demonstrated experience using SQL, SAS , R, Python, Aster, and Tableau
  • Ability to navigate multiple databases in order to extract and manipulate data via SQL to perform complex analyses and deliver key insights
  • Proficiency in 4 data types of data analytics - Descriptive, Diagnostic, Prescriptive and Predictive analytics
  • Ability to deliver results with speed and agility
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
