Data Entry Clerk

Description We're looking for candidates with an eagle eye for even the tiniest inconsistencies and errors, and who can create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes. This position will be responsible for a range of accounting and finance support functions, with an emphasis on effective record keeping. The clerk's responsibilities will mainly include entering high volumes of data into Microsoft Excel and ERP systems and databases with utmost precision and speed and must possess a high level of organization, reliability and attention to detail. This Data Entry Clerk role is a short-term contract / temporary opportunity in Minneapolis, Minnesota.Major responsibilities

Preparing data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities

Ensuring data entry meets requirements by adhering to program techniques and procedures

Reviewing customer and account source documents for deficiencies

Handling highly sensitive information

Utilizing policies and procedures to continue operations; communicating necessary changes

Providing support for data entry and additional administrative tasks

Assisting with special projects as required Requirements - Perform a data entry speed of 8,000 keystrokes per hour with 100% accuracy

Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

High school diploma or equivalent obtained

Data entry experience

Computer Proficiency experience preferred

Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
