Job Description: This role will provide local desktop support to internal Boston Scientific employees at the Maple Grove, Minnetonka and Arden Hills Facilities. While Arden Hills will be primary, the expectation shall be that the Technician will work at all 3 locations per demand. Standard shift hours will be 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and occasional support earlier or later should it be required to facilitate service demand needs.

Desktop Support Responsibilities• Provide customer support for laptop, mobile devices and applications through walk up service (hours of operation 8-4)• Provide customer support for at desktop for desktop pc’s, laptops, peripherals, VOIP phones, printers, multi-function devices and application• Network jack activations• Network capacity audits• Hardware disposition• Windows 10 migrations• PC imaging• Knowledge Article creation• Track work through IT Service Management System• Track asset status / ownership through Asset Management System• Deploy computers to new hires through walk up service, perform initial logon / configurationExperience Desired• Windows 10 migrations and use• Office 365 Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Yammer, Streams, Flow, OneDrive, SharePoint• Troubleshooting issues with Exchange online• IT Service Management Tools (eg. Remedy, ServiceNow)• Asset Management Tools• Active Directory (equipment organization, lookups, password management)• User Training on Windows 10, Office 365 Suite of Tools, A/V and V/C equipmentSkills Required• Excellent Written & Oral communication skills• Highly self-motivated• Projects confidence• Willingness to take ownership of issue through resolution

Experience Desired• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems W10 / W11• Troubleshooting, Licensing, Deployment of Microsoft 365 Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Yammer, Streams, Flow, OneDrive, SharePoint• Troubleshooting issues with Exchange online• IT Service Management Tools (eg. Remedy, ServiceNow)• Asset Management Tools• Active Directory (equipment organization, lookups, password management)• User Training on Windows 10, Office 365 Suite of Tools, A/V and V/C equipment• Strong proponent of Knowledge Management through various avenues
