Summary The Project Manager (PM) is the glue that helps keep projects and people together and is responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and executing projects from beginning to end. As the hub for Creative projects, the PM must flex between critical/strategic thinking, the tactical delivery of tasks, and the connections between for projects with large scope and impact (based on size and complexity of business and/or volume of campaigns). The PM will set and vigilantly manage project expectations with internal and external cross-functional team members. Strong relationship-building skills are critical to success in this role, along with clear and consistent communication. A demonstrated aptitude for project management and navigating organizational dynamics is important. Responsibilities Project Management Drive creative execution of Marketing campaigns by partnering directly with teams including Account Management, Creative, Production, Legal, Proofreading, Media Strategy, and Brand Seasonal / Partner & Category Marketing Oversee execution of paid media projects end-to-end; Provide strategic input, proactively anticipate and manage issues/risks/solutions, and document/communicate project details to hold others accountable Translate Briefs into actionable project plans; Demonstrate an understanding of organizational dynamics to effectively navigate the development of timelines that meet business needs Set and vigilantly manage project expectations with internal and external cross-functional team members at all levels, inclusive of understanding and enforcing roles, responsibilities, and contributions of team members Demonstrate an understanding of the impacts of execution decisions on the customer experience, campaign objectives, and time/people/budget resources Think critically, balance multiple asks, articulate trade-offs for competing priorities, and appropriately identify and escalate issues to ensure delivery of quality creative work Work collaboratively with PM peers to consolidate work streams and drive efficiency and effectiveness on behalf of the organization Facilitate key meetings, own agenda creation, and create and distribute meeting recaps Create timelines and track via workflow tool to ensure deadlines are met, dependencies are established, and risks are mitigated Present and communicate ideas, build consensus, and effectively rationalize decisions to a variety of audiences Support agency engagement and execution ranging from scope definition to delivery of final assets Process DevelopmentPlay a key role in defining and activating strong project management approach, establishing the Creative PM team as a center or excellence within Marketing Activate against an advanced understanding of project management, creative operations, and digital advertising; Capabilities required include development of integrated timelines, prioritization of work, and cross-functional collaboration and communication Work collaboratively with PM peers to deploy a standard and consistent approach to project management that delivers a predictable level of service; Regularly share best practices Innovate and collaborate on process recommendations; Implement process improvements and champion new processes/tools within Marketing Relationship ManagementCommunicate clearly and consistently across the project team and leadership Build and maintain relationships to establish self as a trusted advisor and indispensable gatekeeper to getting work accomplished Exhibit effective leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple teams Demonstrate flexibility to equally balance deadlines and customer experience in a fast-paced environment Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent work experience 5+ years’ experience in fast-paced project management role 5+ years’ experience in agency or marketing role Foundational knowledge of creative operations and digital advertising
