Location: Brooklyn Park, MN Salary: Not Specified by Client Description: Our client is currently seeking a Electrical Designer Hybrid | Brooklyn Park, MN

This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • Navigate and use AutoCAD and/or Revit systems and processes.
  • Perform layout and input of marked-up drawings into Revit in accordance with standards.
  • Produce detailed drawings in 3D including installation instructions as required for prefabrication orders as directed by the project team.
  • Creates prototypes, layouts, and models for electrical product components, or systems.
  • Perform laser scans, and collect, and process data for electrical BIM layouts.
  • Add to prefabrication catalog of working drawings, wiring diagrams, and cross-sections, as required for fabrication and installation crew instructions.
  • Performs verification and preparation of layout drawings to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with Electrical Foremen/Superintendents/Project Managers daily on prefabrication orders, schedules, changes, etc.
  • Read architectural and structural floor plans, sections, and elevations.
  • Manage workflow on projects assigned.
  • Create and maintain a positive working relationship with internal and external customers.
  • Complete As-Built drawings at the end of each project.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Promote a positive safety culture by following safety policies.
  • Build strong internal partnerships, and work collaboratively with other groups to support Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Actively participate in Summer Internship Program and activities.
  • Perform additional duties and assignments as requested/assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Two to four years of Revit and AutoCAD MEP software.
  • Expertise level of Revit knowledge.
  • Experience with Modeling, Collision Detection, and complete runs.
  • All the tasks associated with setting up for pre-fabrication.
  • Proficient in using standard office computer programs such as Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and methods.
  • Willingness to learn new ideas and concepts and takes on new tasks and challenges.
