Our client is a leading global manufacturer of highly engineered equipment servicing multiple markets, they have a unique product portfolio which is used throughout multiple industries. They are growing and adding an Electrical Controls Engineer to their team.In this role you will be responsible for the design and specification of engineered systems. Full project life cycle from initial customer specification review, documentation, submittals, design specifications and factory acceptance testing - Develop front end engineering documentation which includes single-line documents, control theories, and panel specifications
- Program, troubleshoot and edit PLC’s and HMI’s using Allen Bradley
- Specify hardware that meet design specifications
- Evaluate product non-conformances and implement design improvements
- May support manufacturing with product electronic troubleshooting issues
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 3-5 years relevant experience in PLC Programming, HMI Programming, and hardware selection
- Systems engineering covering electrical hardware, power, system interconnection and user interface
- Good communication skills both oral and written
