Job SummaryJob Summary: Working as the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment for the staff. If your goal is to head a world-class culinary program including driving change, mentoring others, and provide innovative ideas and leadership, this is the opportunity for you. During the Bench program, culinarians will be assigned to a commutable training kitchen and work alongside the Divisional and Campus Executive Chef to complete the onboarding and training experience over the course of 12 - 16 weeks. From overseeing multi-unit kitchen operations and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment to leading and developing the team, you will learn the ins and outs of our organization and culture. After completing training, you will then be ready for success in leading culinary operations within a Higher Education account.Once the training program is complete, this Executive Chef will focus on providing both trendy catering menu items and exciting retail menu options. You will create seasonal, on-trend, plant forward, locally sourced items for high profile catering events, everyday retail menu items, and for season specials. Key Responsibilities:

Manages cost controls and controls expenditures for the account

Plans and creates all menus

Purchases and manages inventory

Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team

Preferred Qualifications:

Culinary degree preferred

ServSafe certified

Three to five years of culinary management experience

High volume production and catering experience is essential

Experience in managing multiple operational food service units

Previous experience managing cost controls

Desire to learn and grow with a top notch food service company
