Helps to Maintain and improve the IT technical systems of the Factory.

Primary Point of Contact for Factory IT issues & day to day Factory Operations team’s IT requirements

Preventive Maintenance Planning

Coordination of Software updates / Patches on Shop Floor Machines

Documentation of standard procedures for support of IT-related operations in manufacturing and distribution for new and existing processes.

Coordinate with Third Party Vendor Support for Factory Applications & Devices as needed.

Coordinate with Corporate IT Shared Services Support as needed to ensure seamless support for operations.

Project Management for Factory Digital transformation / Factory 4.0 projects in coordination with Det-Tronics Operations leadership and Det-Tronics IT leader.

Seeks to understand Factory technology needs; communicates ideas to functional and technical leaders for implementation and development.

Provide timely and advance communications to cross functional teams on technology system changes related to the Factory Operations

Ability to adjust and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to Det-Tronics IT Leader

Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED

5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing information technology in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications :

Associates Degree

Experience in a manufacturing environment with assembly lines requiring extensive testing and calibration

Good oral and written communication skills when interacting with factory personnel and ability to articulate issues and requirements to internal & external support teams.

Highly motivated with the ability to take ownership of IT issues and requirements and follow through to conclusion.

Clear knowledge and understanding of network topology LAN, WAN and Wireless Technologies

Hands on IT skills / experience in scripting & trouble shooting applications.

Experience or familiarity with any MES system(s) & ERP Systems

Knowledge and understanding of MS Access DBs

Knowledge and understanding how databases work with Microsoft SQL 2012 and above.

Knowledge and understanding of how Windows Servers 2012 and above operate.
