Job Title:Apprentice Traveling Service TechPay:20-25Description:Seeking a Traveling Service Technician to serve the Midwest market to service and repair a variety of meters, pumps, registers, and other petroleum equipment. The company is a leader in designing, manufacturing, and servicing storage, transport, and dispensing solutions for petroleum, propane, and other liquids and gases.Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, rebuild and calibrate meters and related items Maintain required paperwork Startup and service tanker truck terminal load rack equipment, ethanol skids, and other petroleum equipment Install and repair grounding and overfill prevention systems Warranty work, inspections, and emergency service work Test and operate equipment 90% overnight weekday travel (home on weekends)Additional Skills: 1+ year of proven & professional mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and analytical aptitude Able to read blueprints and schematics Basic understanding of hydraulic principles (Preferred) Experience working with hydraulics (Preferred) Willing to submit to a 5-year driving background checkBenefits: Growth opportunities from within to be lead/supervisor Company is nationwide, and able to relocate if there is interest Yearly Raises Learn to calibrate meter and gain industry certifications Weekly paycheck, Boot reimbursements up to $125 Medical insurance - company covers 75% of premiums, Dental, and vision, paid vacation, company-paid life insurance, 401k retirement with 5% company match, on-spot bonuses GREAT tenure for technician’s average is over 10 yearsWork Environment: Lodging covered, with 55 dollars per diem for food. Company vehicle offered. Will be in a 4-state radius of MN. Working outside and will be in dirtier environments. 90% travel, but flexible if there are situations where the candidate needs to be local for personal/family reasons. Drive home on Fridays 's, and drive back to work on Mondays.
