Front End DeveloperJob Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Front End Developer for a contract position in Richfield, MN. Opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- You'll be part of the client's engineering team responsible for building modular and scalable components using modern web development tools and technologies: Node.js, ECMAScript 6, React, Redux
- Contribute to the architecture and technical direction for building features related to how a user navigates the website and interacts with their products.
- You'll collaborate on dynamic strategies for the performance, security, and accessibility of features that will reach a massive scale and be used by a large variety of product types.
- You'll be part of an innovation driven team that will look to define best practices for development while exploring leading edge technologies.
- Pair programming: 10%-20% The team utilizes dev huddles to collaborate on work and can break out in to pairing sessions to support the development process.
- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience with React, Node, and Redux
- Passionate about frontend development with strong vanilla JavaScript skills
- Able to articulate technical topics to both engineering teams and non-technical partner teams
- Experience using version control systems such as Git
- Experience with unit testing (Enzyme, React Testing Library)
- Experience with automated testing (Cypress, Webdriver, etc)
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructure; AWS / OpenStack
- Experience with bundling technologies (Webpack, Rollup)
- Understanding of frontend performance best practices
- Passionate about technology and creative in finding new implementations for it.
- Experience with React Native/Mobile App development
- Experience with JSON Graph (GraphQL, Falcor, etc)
- Developed with Pattern Libraries and reusable design patterns
