Full Stack DeveloperJob Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Full Stack Developer for a contract position in Richfield, MN. Opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Deliver Cloud infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives with a focus on Cloud migrations
  • Provide thought leadership in infrastructure migration methodologies and techniques including mass application movements into the cloud including:
    • Design, implement and support of infrastructure as code
    • Research new cloud technologies and prototype solutions that can be leveraged to decrease costs and increase performance
    • Assess and compare cloud native PaaS with cloud-enabled traditional infrastructure
    • Practice cloud computing best practices and technology to drive cloud adoption
  • Design of cloud infrastructure with a focus on AWS using industry best practices
  • Provide code reviews of team members work.
  • Participate in agile activities (daily standups, backlog refinement, iteration planning, retrospectives, etc.)
  • Contribute to team's backlog by creating stories and defects as they arise
  • Take ownership of assigned tasking
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience with migration from private to public cloud
  • 5+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, ELB, CloudFormation, S3, IAM, RDS, SNS, etc.)
  • 1+ years of experience developing and maintaining infrastructure as code, ideally using Terraform
  • Experience with server-side technologies such as Apache, NodeJS, HaProxy, Tomcat & Jboss
  • Chef/Ansible
Preferred:
  • Experience with container orchestration systems (OpenShift, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS)
  • Database administration experience like MySQL, Cassandra & Oracle
  • Experience with messaging infrastructure like IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka
  • Used Maven to build, run and create JARs and WAR files among other uses
  • Experience with Linux-based operating system configuration, automation and management
  • Experience with monitoring and analytical tools (Dynatrace, Splunk)
  • Certificate Management (client certificates, server certificates, certificate authorities, etc.)
  • DNS management (PDNS and Route53 experience)
  • Shell scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
  • Excellent technical analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication, documentation and reporting skills
