Must be able to travel 30%The Defibrillation Solutions (DS) business is made up of the foundational businesses of the Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator business (ICD) and the Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy Defibrillators (CRT-D) business. The DS product portfolio is among the largest revenue contributors across Medtronic with an extensive global footprint and exciting growth opportunities.As part of the Defibrillation Solutions (DS) Integrated Operating Unit, the ICD Commercial Marketing organization is seeking a driven, passionate, and global-minded Global Portfolio Marketing Manager . The Portfolio Marketing Manager works as part of the DS Commercial/Downstream Marketing Team to manage the global lifecycle management of the device portfolio, enjoying the practice of ‘running the business’ post launch. This role will be responsible for managing the post-launch product portfolio, identifying areas of improvement, tracking market trends, and keeping the products aligned with the organization’s broader strategy.If you are dynamic, competitive, and passionate about making an impact on people at risk of sudden cardiac arrest, this role is for you!A career at Medtronic is like no other. Come be a part of a company that thinks differently to solve problems, make progress, and deliver meaningful innovations.A Day in the Life:· Develop robust knowledge of the portfolio and be the internal and external champion, working with the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) US field channel and key customers/KOLs· Lead proactive communication strategy with the US CRM field and global partners to keep a pulse on the current business (implants, revenue) through process creation and implementation· Surface key market opportunities post launch, monitor the competitive landscape and coordinate competition-focused marketing initiatives· Collaborate with the Medtronic Customer Insights team to develop, conduct, and interpret market research to understand customer perceptions of the brand· Drive global commercial excellence by delivering top line revenue and implant growth through creative, customer-centric initiatives and managing bottom line COGS and portfolio lifecycle costs· Lead portfolio forecasting process. Collaborate with the Launch Managers, Geography partners, and Patient Management business on:o Long range planning and Phase In/Phase Out (PIPO) planningo AOP and Strategic Plan demand forecast development, update and analysis to define the overall portfolio demand· Serve as the point of contact for customer & field communications post-launch for systemic opportunities and improvements· Identify and share key business metrics to monitor and manage the health of the business· Monitor and deliver on the Claims Matrix leveraging education as an opportunity to drive additional value and brand loyalty· Manage the product portfolio content management in our ongoing customer and sales training· Partner with other functions across Medtronic to deliver programs highlighting the clinical and economic value of Medtronic products and capabilitiesMust Have:Exhibit a hands-on, high energy, and go-getter style complemented by a team player attitude.· Bachelors degree· 4+ years in marketing, sales, sales support or operations (2 years with a Masters Degree)· Project planning and/or process management experience· Experience working in cross functional teamsNice to Have:· MBA or advanced degree· Product portfolio management experience· Analytical and results oriented· Healthcare industry experience· Superb relationship building, interpersonal, and communication skills· Experienced in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookAbout MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
