This position will be responsible for establishing Project Control standards, tools and procedures and serves on the Project Controls Leadership Team working with a multi-nation and multi-cultural team.In this role you need to be able to center the global project controls organization, and wider project management, on a topic / deliverable and fully manage all of the complexities that come with dealing with a global group and divergent opinions / approaches.This role requires expert level knowledge in project controls, requiring you to identify issues/problems and work without appreciable direction. This role requires you to be able to work in a highly complex, ambiguous, and multi-dimensional environment where problems and issues are vaguely defined and you must apply your highly specialized knowledge and understanding to develops solutions with ingenuity and creativity. You should be able to negotiate and convince others to compromise and accept new ideas, approaches, concepts or proposals.Key Accountabilities
Lead activities with respect to development of project controls business management, cost management, and planning for projects, including functional objectives and initiatives
Ensure consistency of implementation of a standard project control plan as part of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) for project execution
Plan and organize the setup of baseline project controls systems
Providing technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation, training and coaching to a large team of Project Controls specialists
Supervise the implementation of Project Coding Structures for control and integrity
Proper understanding of earned value management principles
Proper understanding of planning and scheduling systems and techniques
Understanding of procurement and subcontract management commercial contract development, control practices and principles
Understanding and experience with Agile and Lean project execution principles
Coordinate the provision of historical data and ensure it is meaningful and normalized for reuse
Ability to produce meaningful documentation and presentations on key concepts and/or details that can resonate with a wide audience
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of six years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with change management
Experience with capital planning portfolio management
Engineering and technology discipline and domain knowledge
Experience with program management and tracking
