Description Fully onsite in Fridley, MN We are offering a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Fridley, Minnesota. The job function will be based in the manufacturing industry where the successful applicant will be expected to provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance for queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Respond to queries either in person or over the phone. Train computer users on the use of various systems and software. Maintain daily performance of computer systems. Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. Run diagnostic programs to resolve issues. Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems. Install computer peripherals for users. Requirements Proven experience as a Help Desk Analyst in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required. Familiarity with Citrix virtualization solutions is expected. Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, and appropriate software applications. Practical experience with computer hardware troubleshooting is essential. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. Exceptional customer service skills and detail oriented demeanor. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Must be willing to participate in continuing education to stay updated on best practices in IT support. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
