Smart Compassionate Care is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as a Homemaker and a IHS worker. Individualized home supports (IHS): Services for people who live in their own home or family home that provide support and/or training in the community living service

Position: Homemaker/ IHS worker

Employment Type: Part-Time

Hours: Flexible schedule within business hours (8:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

Pay: $16 - $21 per hour, depending on qualifications

IHS worker Responsibilities:

Accompany clients to and from medical appointment

Help schedule clients medical appointments

Provide companionship and support by accompanying clients to appointments and outings.

Assist with shopping for food, clothing, and household supplies.

Maintain detailed records of care provided, noting any changes in the client's condition.

Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental and social well-being.

Perform housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and dishwashing.

Homemaker Responsibilities:

Perform housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and dishwashing. (general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming)

Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas

Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels

Provide companionship and support by accompanying clients in community

Skillfully prepare meals in accordance with dietary restrictions.

Assist with shopping for food, clothing, and household supplies.

Maintain detailed records of care provided, noting any changes in the client's condition.

Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental and social well-being.

Requirements:

Possess a valid driver's license and insurance

Have access to a reliable car.

Able to pass a DHS background check.

Authorized to work in the USA.
