Description We are working with a client who is searching for a strategic and hands-on interim HR Director to join their team on a contract basis, who is in the non-profit industry in Minneapolis, MN. The interim HR Director will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, and payroll oversight. Position is part-time and offers a hybrid work model. Responsibilities: Lead and manage all HR functional areas with a tactical and strategic approach Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution and complaint investigation Administer benefits, interact with brokers, and ensure system updates of benefit offerings Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from job offer to onboarding and offboarding, ensuring fairness in hiring and consideration of cultural differences Facilitate annual performance reviews and drive performance management initiatives Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions Experience working with a diverse workforce, understanding varying values and practices Oversee payroll processing efficientlyRequirements Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the Non-Profit sector Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now and ADP - Payroll is required Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for this role Demonstrated experience in Compliance and Employee Relations Proven ability to conduct Complaint Investigations and achieve Complaint Resolution Must have experience in Full Cycle Recruiting Experience in Onboarding new employees is essential Must be proficient in Benefits Administration Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred Proven leadership skills and the ability to make strategic decisions Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and reports Must be able to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality Proficiency in using Microsoft Suite Office, Outlook, HR software and computer applications Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is required Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks Must be able to work independently and make decisions under pressure Experience with ADP Workforce Now or other HRIS/payroll system and technology intuitive Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
