Description We have an opportunity for a contract to hire employment position as an HR Generalist with one of our clients in the manufacturing industry, located in Fridley, Minnesota. In this role, you will be instrumental in handling various HR-related duties, from onboarding new hires to assisting with employee relations and performance. Responsibilities: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. Play a crucial role in assisting with employee relations and performance management, ensuring a positive work environment. Have a clear understanding of benefits and 401k and assist employees with any inquiries or issues they might have. Participate in recruitment processes, contributing to the selection of the best talent for our team. Conduct Form I-9 verification and maintain ongoing compliance, adhering to all legal requirements and standards. Utilize HRIS systems with Ceridian and Dayforce for efficient and accurate HR management. Assist with payroll-related tasks, such as entering timesheets and time-off requests from hourly employees, serving as an interface between production and hourly employees. Show a consistent desire to grow and learn in the position, acting as an intermediary in the organization. Ensure compliance and effective communication across all levels of the organization. Utilize key skills in benefit functions, communication, compliance, employee relations, and Ceridian payroll system.Requirements Minimum of 3 years' experience in a HR Generalist role. Proficiency in using Ceridian and Dayforce software. Demonstrated knowledge of employee benefit and employee relations. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Knowledge of compliance within HR and the ability to ensure it within the workplace. Proficient using Microsoft Office, and experience in using Dayforce system or intuitive with software. Ability to multitask and manage a diverse range of HR tasks. Able to work independently, a team player and with all levels of staff. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
