Independent Inspector - Willing to Train

Richmond Oakes is a local inspection company that provides services for banks and insurance carriers. We are looking for a new inspector to cover the SW Metro and surrounding areas.

The job is rather simple, but the clients want every inspection to follow the same template. You must be a process driven person who can deliver a consistent inspection over and over. There is a lot of driving involved so you would need to own the right type of vehicle.

Mortgage lenders send out occupancy checks for various reasons. Foreclosure, insurance claims filed, building permits pulled, etc Despite the reason our job is the same. We knock on the door, determine if the property is occupied or vacant, fill out a short form, and take supporting photos. The forms and pictures are all done within an app. No take home work everything is done in the field. Standard inspection takes 3 minutes.

For insurance carriers we collect information for the underwriting team. We walk around the property and document construction materials and hazards. These take 10 minutes once you get the hang of it.

Pay is per inspection. You can complete 4-8 inspections per hour depending on the day. This area has enough volume for +/- $3,000 month depending on your availability. We are looking for someone to work 20 hours / week with the potential for full time work.
