Independent Living Specialist - Float

Must be a valid driverAs an Independent Living Specialist – Float, you will provide support to individuals across multiple programs and services throughout the South Metro area (must be willing to travel within approximately a 30-minute radius). Assignments may include Employment, In-Home Support Services (IHS), and Residential services based on individual and program needs. This position is ideal for someone who is adaptable, self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and enjoys variety in their workday. What You’ll Do: Provide individualized 1:1 support in home and community settings  Help individuals develop daily living skills and greater independence  Support appointments, errands, employment activities, and community involvement  Assist with personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and other daily needs as required  Help develop skills related to budgeting, household management, health and wellness, safety, and community participation  Follow individualized support and service plans  Complete required documentation and progress notes  Communicate and collaborate with supervisors, coworkers, and members of the individual’s support team  Encourage choice, independence, and participation in meaningful activities
