Irrigation Technician

Job Description:

Irrigation Technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing commercial, residential and Homeowners Association irrigation systems.

Pay:

Salary option: $52,000 - $80,000 a year depending on experience.

Hourly option: $25 - $50 per hour depending on experience.

Job Requirements:

Driver’s License with clean driving record.

Ability to pass a DOT Physical.

At least 2 years of experience in the irrigation industry.

Ability to properly test, troubleshoot, and repair all components of traditional lawn irrigation systems.

Proficient knowledge in plumbing, electrical and troubleshooting skills.

Optional continued employment through the winter season as a snow removal equipment operator.

Winter season equipment options: Tractor, Skid-Steer, Wheel-Loader, and salt truck.

Tasks:

Servicing Residential, Commercial, and HOA irrigation systems.

Installing full irrigation systems.

Properly maintaining tools and equipment.

Maintaining a clean and organized service truck and tools.

Hand digging trenches, replacing heads, repairing pipes.

Installation and repair of pumps, relays, and controllers.

Conducting routine maintenance checkups.

Schedule:

Typical Shift: 7:00am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday.

If weekly workload completed Fridays potentially off.

No weekend work.
