Irrigation Technicians

Green Grass Outdoor Services is a small irrigation company located in the west metro with a large customer base serving the entire twin cities area. We have been providing irrigation services for more than 25 years. We strive to provide the best possible service for our customers by focusing on attention to detail, reliability, time management and accountability.

Currently, we are seeking Irrigation Technicians including a Lead Technician and Laborers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. Hourly wages paid and use of company vehicles provided.

Lead Technician Requirements:

Previous experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance

Solid knowledge of irrigation system components and their functions

Familiarity with various irrigation methods and technologies

Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform strength and motion to shovel and rake

Ability access various areas of a property which may include climbing stairs and/or ladders

Ability to bend, stoop or kneel

Ability to work in adverse weather conditions including heat, cold, wind and rain

Valid MN Driver’s License with clean driving record

Lead Technician Responsibilities:

Conducting site assessments to determine irrigation system requirements

Installing and repairing irrigation systems, including pipes, sprinklers, valves and controllers

Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with existing systems

Conducting regular maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance

Collaborating with clients and proving exceptional customer service

Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices

Laborer Requirements:

Previous experience in irrigation systems helpful, but not required

Problem solving skills and attention to detail

Willingness to learn and take direction from lead technician

Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform motion to shovel and rake

Ability to access various areas of a property which may include climbing stairs and/or ladders

Ability to bend, stoop or kneel

Ability to work in adverse weather conditions including heat, cold, wind and rain

Valid MN Driver’s License with clean driving record
