Can you please provide a summary of the project/initiative which describes what's being done? Pricing GGMAP/PPOONE pricing components in Value based reimbursement team are looking to add a senior team member to help handle the inflow of feature work to support our providers. The work is being done in distributed technologies using java and kubernetes platform Please describe the team the candidate will be working with how many members and what is the break-down of the team's skill sets (ex: 1 PM, 4 Developers, etc.)? All developers in scrum environment. What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.)? Experience with the following technologies Java Full Stack Spring Boot Kubernetes Openshift Jenkins Maven Rest Service Frameworks Gherkin / Cucumber Testing Automation Kafka Event Processing Spark / Python (1) AWS Cloud Computing a plus What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis) Work with business partners/product owners to understand desired system functionality. Understand new product capabilities and decompose the implementation into specific functional changes for verification Participate in Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance Perform comprehensive testing of product distributions prior to release Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required What skills/attributes are required (Please be detailed as to number of years of experience)? 7-10 years of sw development in Java 2-3 years of microservices/kubernetes What skills/attributes are preferred (will set a candidate apart)? Healthcare knowledge is preferred but not a must
