About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst to join the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Finance team. We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and energetic finance professional to join the team supporting the Banking sector of CIB. The role reports to the CFO of Banking and will have oversight over many of the most critical central functions of the team.In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing projects and work streams essential to the CIB Banking sector from a finance, business, and regulatory perspective. The role will directly face off senior business leaders of the bank in Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Risk and Lines of Business. These include, but are not limited to, Recovery & Resolution Planning, CCAR, International Financial Reporting, Model Governance, Cost Studies and Allocations, Headcount and Expense Forecasting and Reporting, Accounting Policy Research, and Process Flow and Control maintenance.The position requires in-depth research of financial and operational data and the ability to articulate the data to senior management and other related groups. This position will learn about different components and drivers of a complex Balance Sheet and P&L. Also, this individual will be working on projects that support the strategic growth initiatives of the business.Act as primary finance liaison and coordinator for finance related task for Recovery & Resolution Planning, including updating RRP playbooks, updating allocation methodologies, and partnering with the front line to develop strategy.

Function as finance lead for mid-cycle and annual CCAR stress testing for Banking, including coordinating finance tasks/procedures, representing Banking on calls with internal challenge sessions or regulator inquiries, challenging model owners and results, and ensuring front line business leaders are properly involved.

Partner with the International Finance team to produce detailed international financial reporting schedules to be included in presentations to senior leadership.

Maintain inventories of crucial models and EUCTs, including assisting in onboarding new items and at times owning several models.

Lead Banking efforts on annual cost studies and expense allocations. This includes a broad array of tasks, including complex product margin modeling, AU transfer pricing and other allocations, indirect expense research, and much more.

Function as lead on headcount and expense reporting and forecasting, including partnering with the lines of business to develop hiring plans and budget considerations, modeling impacts and scenarios of different investment options, etc

Function as lead on complex accounting policy research by partnering with different finance and accounting functions, and help develop/maintain process flow/control documentation when needed.

Lead complex initiatives on matters related to financial research and reporting as well as financial consulting related to business performance

Provide companywide advice and technical expertise on matters related to complex financial analysis as well as economic research in support of management decision making functions

Research strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning

Review technical challenges that require evaluation or multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors

Make decisions in maintaining effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards

Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
