Lead laborer

Established Hardscape's construction company, with no shortage of work looking for a lead laborer. experience in different types of retaining walls a must. looking for a motivated individual to join our team.

$30.00 + per hour

Job Duties are, but not limited to

Manage the execution of hardscape construction projects, equipment requirements and material deliveries and timing to Ensure completion of job(s) within project deadlines.

Assist in preparation of jobsite prior to the beginning of a project.

Supervise, coordinate and schedule the day to day work activities of a landscape construction crew of 3 to 5 employees.

Delegate job tasks to appropriate crew members to assist in the completion of landscape construction.

Ability to operate various tools and equipment, including: heavy equipment, chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measuring equipment, shovels, hammers, drills etc.

Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating and cleaning on a regular basis.

Comply with all company policy's and regulations.

Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsite etc.

Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications to delegate/complete work activities.

Ensure all work activities and carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

Job Requirements:

2-4 years experience in the landscape/hardscapes industry

Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner

effective communication skills

must possess a valid drivers license, dot card

ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly

ability to work in a fast paced environment

work near heavy equipment and vehicles on a regular basis

work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust
