An intermittent employee works an irregular and uncertain schedule as the needs of the agency require. Intermittent employees must be available to work all three shifts and some weekends. Shifts are: Day shift 7:00am-3:30pm, Evening shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm, Night shift: 11:00pm-7:30am.Deliver licensed practical Nursing care with in the LPN scope of practice, as defined by the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, for residents. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to promote the well being, health and safety of residents in a person-centered, long term care environment.Minimum Qualifications
Licensed in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse, in good standing
Ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions, and take legible notes
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a long term care environment
Experience working with Veterans

A Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) background check may be conducted on the top finalist(s) for the position(s). When conducted, a finalist must pass the DHS background check.
A Tuberculosis (Mantoux) screening (or chest x-ray) is required prior to employment.
