Live-In Motel Maintenance

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Live-In Maintenance Person to join our team at a hotel in International Falls, MN. This position includes free housing and utilities in exchange for up to 21 hours of work per week. Ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking for stable living arrangements with consistent projects. Having remote work or a local second job may also be ideal.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the property is safe and well-maintained

Respond to urgent repair requests promptly

Diagnose and repair minor electrical issues

Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and water heater problems

Patch, replace, and finish drywall in guest rooms and common areas

Requirements:

Must live onsite full-time (private room provided)

Able to work independently and manage time effectively

Must be physically capable of lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions

Previous maintenance or handyman experience required
