MachinistsResponsibilities: Must be familiar with manual machines, milling machines, lathes, broch keys, etc. Creates replacement parts according to specifications; disassembles repairs and assembles pieces of equipment. Aligns, balances, adjusts and rigs grinding rolls to crowns and diameters as specified. Will be required to work in the shop or in the field to complete the necessary repairs. Maintains equipment in safe working condition, complies with all safety regulations and practices. Other duties as assigned or required. Pay: Pay range is $34.37 to $35.94 per hour. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Minimum 5+ years’ experience working in associated craft in an industrial environment and/or a minimum of 6,000 documented on the job training hours. Must pass pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen. Must be able to work in the United States and have acceptable I-9 documentation. Must be able to work in tight spaces and in heat/cold conditions and heights. Must have good work, attendance, and safety record. Must join/be a member of USW Local 264 and meet/sustain requirements of the current appliable Collective Bargaining Agreement.Hours of work: Must be willing to work varying shifts for weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Must work overtime as needed.
