We are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join the team on 1st shift. The Maintenance Mechanic assists with installing, repairing and monitoring Industrial processing and production machinery under the direction of Equipment Maintenance Supervisor. Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on machines, equipment and plant facilities. This

includes problem identification, assessment of material requirements, requisition placement, and repair.

Assist in inspecting machinery and equipment to detect irregularities or malfunctions and perform required repair.

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Reviews and follows safety procedures for all equipment.

Use a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment to perform duties.

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Handles multiple projects and prioritizes work efficiently.

Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Trade school or work-related experience

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Must be flexible in dealing with others in the organization and with work assignments/projects.

Basic understanding of electrical, mechanics and other maintenance duties

Team player and must work well with others

Self-organized, self-motivated; ability to work independent of supervision

Attendance is essential to job qualification. No unexcused absence is acceptable.
