Here, you will find talented peers, comprehensive benefits, a culture guided by diversity and inclusion, career growth opportunities and your life's best work.(sm)The Manager Buyside Data Analytics is responsible for providing informed analytics to the OptumRx Pharmacies specifically Genoa, Specialty, Infusion, and HDP & Industry & Network Relations (INR) across Brand/Specialty, Generic, Biosimilar Category Product classes.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities

Monitoring Pharmaceutical Manufacturer commercialization trends, product launches, loss of exclusivity, divestitures, acquisitions, reformulations etc., and any other significant commercialization strategy employed by manufacturers

Develop and implement ongoing processes for measuring and monitoring all supplier metrics, including Wholesaler & Direct Manufacturer related metrics and data

Drive data analytics to inform the decision making around product access for internal distribution

Collaborate with finance to develop a Dashboard, Trend Analysis, and Financial metrics that enable and drive actionable and business decisions that drive margin growth and position OptumRx pharmacies as leaders in their respective segments

Support negotiations on new and existing Supplier contracts

Support Network relations group with COG’s and Inventory requests

Support Quarterly Business reviews and manufacture meetings

Additional Responsibilities

Develop and utilize the necessary tools and processes to provide usable data, analysis and market research to INR & Pharmacy Services Business Leaders by receiving and processing data requests from those teams

Liaise with the Enterprise Data & Analytics teams to support INR & Pharmacy Services Business needs including dashboard development, ongoing maintenance/updates, and strategies for 3rd Party data strategy and design; assists with the execution of the data feeds related to both external parties

Support Ad hoc projects as necessary

Perform related duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education obtained through broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations

3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Market Research, and/or analytics roles within the Healthcare Supply Chain Industry or MBA

Experience collaborating/supporting other business groups

Working knowledge of sales, supply chain management and/or inventory management principles and methodologies

Advanced computer skills in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs; knowledge of Microsoft Suite

Proficient in SQL and BI or Tableau

Ability to travel as need up 10-15%

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA

5+ years of experience in Pharma or Finance or Accounting background

Competencies:

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Solid interpersonal skills

Solid organizational skills; attention to detail

Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices
