Our client is seeking for Lead IAM Technical Consultant Full Time Direct Hire (Not A Contract) You Must Be in Either United States - Illinois - North Chicago United States - Minnesota - St. Paul United States - Ohio Columbus United States - Missouri - Kansas City What you will do: A senior level management position within the Companies IT Infrastructure Services team, responsible for design, delivery, management, and continuous improvement of IT network services to align with company business needs. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that service across Wide Area Network is delivered cost effectively, using a quality driven approach, and according to service levels established by the organization. Additionally, this person will drive the delivery of high-performance network services through direct ownership of companies' resources and supplier relationships. Core Job Responsibilities: Direct responsibility to lead managed network operations workloads 24x7 with Companies network services engineers and partners. Manages supplier operational performance in all aspects of delivery, including service levels and costs. Partner with suppliers to deliver operational results 24x7. Direct responsibility for defining the strategy and engineering design for Wide Area Network (WAN), Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN) and Cloud Connectivity. Manages implementation, develops and oversees peer reviews of network designs, configurations, integration and migration of existing and planned solutions Direct responsibility for the service management of network and telecommunications services, driving the identification of proper handling of service requests and incidents across the organization, integrating the use of Logic Monitor, Big Panda, Service Now, and others. Manages and leads network services analysis and continuous service improvement plans with respect to incident, problem, change, and capacity management of network and telecommunications infrastructure. Manage appropriate Companies resources in the service assurance team. Collaborates with peers to drive service performance and strategy for the purposes of building and maintaining cost effective, collaborative, and high-quality services. Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for WAN / SD-WAN Networks and Cloud Connectivity. Collaborates and contributes to the strategies and long-range plans with network service peers to drive network services accordingly. Identifies gaps and drives alignments of strategy to deliver high quality services. Develop a multi-year network strategy from which you will produce detailed annual project plans and drive them to successful closure. Keep current with the latest technologies and deliver competitive business advantage through modern network capabilities. Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives. Manage capacity and performance planning, software upgrades on production platforms, new and renovated facility build-outs, and change management Manage third-party relationships, including hardware/software vendors and outside consultants to ensure levels of service and efficient use of external resources. Collaborate with network and telecommunications management peers to identify technical specification deviations using automated and manual tools; leads and tracks plans to remedy identified deviations of configurations. Defines the overall priorities and requirements of continuous service improvement plans by analyzing performance of the team; ensures focus on operational delivery tactically and strategically. Presents to leadership the outcomes of analysis and proposals for maintaining high quality services. Oversee engineering team workload performing work prioritization, scheduling, resource allocation, identify deliverables and assignment/tracking of delivery dates. Build and maintain relationships with other business and IT leaders to understand initiative requirements and method of communicating new work and statuses. Develops support playbooks and support agile network issue resolution and delivery. Work with network operations teams to improve quality and efficiency in all aspects of operations. REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 8+ years of experience operating network services.
  • Experience in managing a global team with a geographically distributed network
  • Technical understanding of network equipment, functions, configurations, and options for use.
  • Knowledge of network management systems, network equipment configuration, and service models.
  • Knowledge of network technologies such as: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11a/b/g/n, 802.1x, WPA/WPA2, VPN, DMVPN, SD-WAN, NAT, VRRP, HSRP, IPSEC, RADIUS, RTP, SIP. Network transport with MPLS, Ethernet and 4G/LTE, Wireless access points / controllers, COS/QOS, VPN, VPC, spanning tree, Network Function Virtualization, VoIP and structured Cat5/6 cabling.
