Location: Plymouth, MN Salary: 32 Description: Our client is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician
Technical Engineering Support Teams analyze, test, and assist in research for the development of products and processes. Team members may specialize in quality control or assurance, chemical manufacturing processes, metals, electrical connectors and components, process development, materials, and/or instrumentation. They may also handle calibration, displays, network control, mold development, and audiovisual work or environmental health and safety. The Technical Engineering Support Teams are responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines. They plan, prioritize, and manage multiple engineering projects; prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and that project deadline are met. The Teams also support Product Development in the selection and optimization of tools for piece part production and the selection of the most suitable manufacturing concepts relative to planned manufacturing quantities, quality requirements, and manufacturing location. They act as an interface between engineering and production to ensure manufacturability of new designs and smooth production ramp up as well as support the research & development teams to produce sample manufacturing equipment, product samples, and prototypes. The Manufacturing Technician II will be responsible for: General setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment and tooling to support manufacturing and development efforts in a clean room environment. support as needed, and Customer Service support as needed. Overall a multi-functional individual that will wear several hats during our growth needs. Equipment and facility maintenance and cleaning.• Have the mechanical ability to learn to be able to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment. • Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical equipment during operation. • Maintain equipment (in clean room at times) working with maintenance on this. • Scheduling, setup and running of production and prototypes to customer specification. • All paperwork required per our QA manual & documentation system Supporting QA as needed with inspection procedures or any other QA related tasks. • Supporting Sales/Customer Service as needed. • General support for all manufacturing and development activity.Contact: This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
