OVERVIEW:

As part of the Global Data Governance & Capabilities leadership team, the Master Data Integration Senior Analyst will actively support Master Data project initiatives to ensure projects align to Master Data technical standards and to provide cross-domain expertise for Data Governance solutions & reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Consult and/or actively participate on projects that intersect, impact or leverage Master Data to ensure that the data is fit for use and that the proposed designs adequately address immediate and future cross-functional business requirements
  • Define and Translate Business Rules into Data Models and Data Governance & Quality Solutions
  • Maintain Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Models for Master Data domains
  • Lead and/or consult on MD technology upgrades/implementations (SAP, MDM Solutions, etc.), Master Data Integration Resolution, Data Remediation and Data Gov Framework & Quality Reporting
  • Provide cross-domain perspective and expertise for MD solutions, including SAP Upgrades, Data Lake & Cloud modeling, Security requirement, and Data Remediation & Quality reporting

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of enterprise technologies, data governance technologies and emerging technologies that might be used at General Mills
  • Cross-domain MD expertise (one or more of core MD domains - Finished Product, Plant, Semi, Raw Material, Vendor, Customer and/or Hierarchies)
  • Familiarity with data modeling and models used currently at General Mills
  • Ability to understand and communicate the 'big picture' and not work solely within a project silo
  • Self-starter and self-motivated requiring little support from others
  • Curious and willing to ask challenging questions, even when not necessarily a subject matter expert
  • Experience in managing and delivering small-medium projects or programs
  • Analytical mindset with ability to grasp complex data sets and to identify patterns or critical data elements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience and interest in leading, influencing, coaching, and mentoring others
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Data Governance strategies and processes
  • Database or SQL experience
  • Visual reporting tool experience (ie: Tableau, BI, etc.)

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS
  • The preferred location for this role is Minneapolis, MN however remote work-at-home applications within the United States will be considered.
  • Relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered.
