Mechanical Designer

Description:Experience with creating and maintaining drawings and 3D models in SolidWorks software (or similar, alternates can be reviewed) - in some cases merely updating drawings, in other cases creating new drawings and models, in all cases the requirement will be to follow our internal procedures for 3D and drawing standards (which we will train to once this person starts).Update legacy models and drawings with defined changes (follow markups from leadership)Create new drawings and models when required, using our standard practices and templatesBill of material, change management, and similar design maintenance tasks may be involvedExperience with various tasks such as 3D modeling, GD&T, PDM system and ECNMachine and component designAdditional Skills & Qualifications:2-year AAS or 4-year technical degree3+ years of experience within a mechanical design focused role, SolidWorks preferredAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
