Participates in the operational support activities necessary to maintain and optimize testing capabilities.QualificationsBachelor's degree in medical laboratory science (MLS), clinical laboratory science (CLS) or medical technology (MT) or Bachelor's plus Certificate in medical laboratory science (MLS), clinical laboratory science (CLS), or medical technology (MT), as recognized by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) is required. A HEW certificate may be substituted for the specified degree.Applicants needing visa sponsorship must possess CGFNS Visa Screen certification upon application . The MLT position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program for MLT.Additional qualificationsExperience with operation and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation and assay systems is desirable. Must be capable of producing accurate results under time constraints, multi-tasking, and performing in a fast-paced and changing environment. Must possess good communication skills and be able to work closely with others.
