Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry at our Bloomington, Minnesota location. We are in search of a Accounting Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring the precise and prompt enrollment and billing of employer groups, auditing and rectifying enrollment and billing discrepancies and managing the collection and reconciliation of premium payments to enrollment data.Responsibilities: Handle the accurate and efficient enrollment and billing of employer groups Conduct audits and resolve any discrepancies related to enrollment and billing Administer the collection and reconciliation of premium payments in accordance with enrollment data Process electronic group enrollment files and manual enrollment forms and spreadsheets following the applicable group eligibility rules Audit and reconcile group enrollment records based on a review of the electronic enrollment error and reconciliation reports Maintain comprehensive transaction records and assist in audits Serve as a key contact for internal and external customers for Membership Accounting Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Ceridian, and Concur for various accounting functions Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) and perform auditing and billing functions using ERP - Enterprise Resource PlanningRequirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with Ceridian Knowledge of Concur Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Ability to perform all Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Auditing skills Proficiency in Billing Functions Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance industry experience preferred Ability to work in a team and independently Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Detail-oriented and high level of accuracy in work Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
