OVERVIEW:

We need your help in solving complex, and ambiguous issues within the Supply Chain Make Pillar. The application engineer will support and implement the application and data strategy for the Make Pillar. They will work closely with Product Owners and our IT Consultants to deliver their goals and outcomes, eliciting and analyzing requirements and building production applications. Driving execution is critical and includes thought leadership and direct guidance and direction for the Supply Chain Make team, partnering closely with project management to document user stories, building out tasks, and delivering on time and within budget.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Leverage D&T Capabilities to drive Business Value
  • Implement and support application architecture for the Supply Chain Make Pilar.
  • Partner with Make IT Consultants to design and build capabilities and corresponding lifecycle management plan to meet current and future needs
  • Partner with Make IT Consultants to define application & data architecture for key programs and/or projects - taking into consideration the lens of the customer
  • Assure data quality and governance - attribution coming from external data sources or moving between internal data repositories, appropriate administration capabilities for the Data Governance team
Optimize Operations for today
  • Assure operational stability, scalability & reliability
  • Maintain, update, and troubleshoot current systems and tools
  • Support efficient and effective operations across data operations - consult, advise, provide subject matter expertise
  • Coordinate Content and drive work forward (ingesting, tracking, and validating)
  • Partner and collaborate with Enterprise teams (App Dev, Data Platform, Visualization, Infrastructure, etc.)
Thought Leadership for tomorrow
  • Partner with Make IT Consultants and to implement the technical roadmap for SC Make
  • Be a key player in the development space for the Make Pillar and mentor and guide Jr. developers and analysts in the space.
  • Manage and drive career experiences (keep current with new technologies)
  • Hyperaware of external conditions & capabilities (benchmark peers)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years total work experience
  • Development experience in .NET, Oracle, SQL, and Python -> deployment via Build & Deploy & Jenkins
  • Experience with building schedules and triggers (Cron Jobs, Tidal Jobs)
  • Experience with building APIs and integrations with various applications
  • Demonstrated experience using strong communication skills to collaborate with client and technical resources
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment yet independently productive
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery environment, specifically, SCRUM

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BS/BA Computer Science / MIS degree or equivalent experience
