Network Engineer - Wireless, Cisco Minneapolis - St Paul, MN - HQ and Office (Hybrid Model) $115,000 - $125,000 Base range DOQ (would be eligible for monthly commission once ramped up, + full benefit package)

Our client - a professional service & delivery company is looking for a Network Engineer who enjoys customer facing, assessing customer environments, poking holes, asking questions, designing solutions as well as rolling up the sleeves back at the desk to knock it out! These projects are large at scale, public, well known sites across US (Not your ordinary corporate role!).   • Must possess a high level of knowledge in Cisco networking
    • Cisco firewalls, switches, and routers
    • BGP, EIGRP, and MLPS
    • Configure custom security policies in existing Cisco ASA series firewalls
    • Configure MPLS services in existing MPLS backbone to interconnect customer locations with Data Center resources
    • Configure customer facing network ports on existing Cisco network including: T1, Multilink PPP T1, T3, Metro Ethernet, Ethernet
    • Cisco Certifications are ideal: CCNP, CCIE, CCNA, etc.

  • Must be exposed and understand Windows, Unix server administration, storage area networks and virtualization technologies as well

  • Configure wide area network (WAN) or local area network (LAN) routers or related equipment

  • Evaluate local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN) performance data to ensure enough availability or speed, to identify network problems, or for disaster recovery purposes

  • Configure and define parameters for installation or testing of local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), hubs, routers, switches, controllers, multiplexers, or related networking equipment
