Job DescriptionThe primary purpose of your job position is to plan, organize, conduct and evaluate educational programs throughout Auburn Homes and Services Skilled Nursing Departments in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the Director of Nursing, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.RESPONSIBILITIESThe Nurse Educator will plan, develop, coordinate and deliver a variety of educational programs for clinical and other staff to meet specific goals and competency requirements in conformance with departmental and organizational objectives. Will provide orientation and onboarding for all nursing staff in compliance with state and federal regulations and changes, researching and using the most updated sources and standards of practice.Will use many different instructional formats, self-paced independent study, coaching and mentoring, online learning and others.  The Nurse Educator will provide ongoing employee educational and development opportunities that meet regulatory requirements and increase knowledge and opportunities for growth.Assist team with clinical support as directed.
