Paralegal

Description Robert Half Legal is actively recruiting for a Paralegal opening with a highly awarded Twin Cities law firm. This firm specializes in representing people injured by defective medical devices. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience in a law firm or other legal setting. Ideal candidates will have case management experience, familiarity with medical records, ability to operate in an independent working atmosphere, ability to multi-task, and can effectively communicate in a dispersed hybrid work setup. This will be primarily remote, targeted at 2 days per week in office after training. Specific duties include:

Obtaining, preparing, and organizing a range of legal documents

Managing large electronic and hard copy document databases containing sensitive information

Obtaining and summarizing medical records and medical bills

Corresponding via email/telephone/letter with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, and other outside parties

Preparing trial and arbitration binders and managing exhibits

Conducting legal research and research different jurisdictional procedures

Actively participate in team meetings providing insight and expertise in strategy development

Additional project management responsibilities as assigned

Requirements
