As a cook, you will follow culturally authentic recipes, adjust based on special requests and work with a diverse group of staff under the direction of the Kitchen Coordinator. You will present food that is not only delicious and cooked to the specifications for the meal but that is safe and fresh as well.You will:
Prepare food through multiple methods of baking, frying, broiling and grilling while using industrial kitchen equipment
Maintain quality, safety and sanitation standards in food handling and preparation
Wash dishes
Provide excellent services to guests
Minimum Qualifications
Pass a background check
At least three months of experience in food service
18 years of age
Ability to read recipe cards
Preferred Qualifications
Quantity cooking experience
ServSafe certificate or similar food safety course certificate, or pass ServSafe exam within the first year of employment
