Description We are a globally recognized intellectual property law firm looking for a skilled Patent Paralegal – Prosecution. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Mandarin and English, and they should ideally possess around two years of experience in the U.S. patent paralegal field. Entry level candidates with the required language skills will be considered! This opportunity is open to fully remote candidates, with occasional office visits required for training and collaboration purposes. Preference may be given to candidates with the ability to come to an office location monthly.Key Responsibilities:

Handling a wide range of administrative and procedural duties related to patent application filings and the entire patent prosecution process.

Taking care of the preparation of documents associated with various stages of U.S. and Foreign patent prosecution, including disclosure statements, formal documents, office action response shells, and notice of allowance due diligence.

Maintaining a prosecution docket and adhering to all due dates and deadlines.

Meeting the practice management billable goal of 1300 hours.

Requirements

Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Patent Paralegal in the U.S.; foreign experience will be an added advantage.

Proficient in spoken and written Mandarin and English.

Experience in a billable patent paralegal role is preferred.

Excellent time management, prioritization, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

Proven accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written).

MS Excel proficiency.

Prolaw experience is a plus.
