OverviewThe Patient Services Coordinator (PSC) is responsible for scheduling and re-scheduling patients and may also serve as the primary receptionist for the department. This role creates the “first impression” guests (patients or visitors) through the check-in/-out process and scheduling process. This position interacts closely with patients and the multidisciplinary team in a highly organized and professional manner. Ensures an outstanding patient experience is achieved by displaying effective customer service, problem solving and communication skills in a friendly, thoughtful and empathetic manner. The PSC also performs a variety of clerical functions.
FTE 1.0, 80 hours per pay period.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9:30am - 6:00pm, Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm, and every 4th Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm.
