Description We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Minnetonka, Minnesota. The successful candidate will be tasked with the management and execution of bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and responding to all requests for employee inquiries. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail, an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and a proficiency in ADP payroll software.Responsibilities: Manage and process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll to ensure timely and accurate disbursement Validate and prepare a variety of pay calculations according to internal compensation programs and hours Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations pertaining to withholding, deductions, tax, and labor laws Respond promptly and accurately to all requests for employee inquiries, employment income verifications, garnishments, liens, or levies Process special pay such as new hire, true-up, bonuses, manual checks, and end of employment computations in a timely and accurate manner Calculate internal short-term disability compensation programs Oversee the preparation and review of a variety of files, payroll records, and reports according to established timelines Use accounting software systems and ADP Workforce Now to maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications Perform auditing and benefit functions as required Utilize skills in Crystal Reports, 401k - RRSP Administration, Accounting Functions to ensure smooth operations. Requirements Proficiency in accounting software systems is a must Experience with ADP Financial Services Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is required Familiarity with Ceridian software is essential Crystal Reports usage experience is needed Experience in 401k or RRSP administration is desirable Prior use of About Time software is a plus Strong understanding of accounting functions is required Auditing experience is necessary Experience in managing benefit functions is important Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
