Description We are inviting applications for the role of Payroll Administrator based in Fridley, Minnesota, 55432-3113, United States. This role is in the Manufacturing industry and involves the management of payroll processing and related tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling payroll for a large number of employees, along with administering benefits and supporting 401k processes.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage bi-weekly payroll processing for a large workforce. Administer employee benefits, ensuring all employees are receiving their entitled benefits. Provide support for 401k processes, addressing any issues or queries that arise. Carry out other related payroll and HR duties as required, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Utilize accounting software systems to manage and monitor payroll processes. Handle payroll garnishments and levies in compliance with legal requirements. Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and manage payroll data and records. Perform HR administration tasks as needed, providing support to the HR department. Use 10-key accounting skills to accurately input and manage payroll data. Address and resolve any payroll related inquiries from employees, providing excellent customer service. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator in the Manufacturing industry Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Demonstrated knowledge of Benefit Functions Experience in managing Payroll for over 500 employees Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration Proficiency in 10-Key Accounting Experience in handling Payroll Garnishments and Levies Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion Excellent problem-solving/judgement skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
